Lassie Talks is a family-run dog training provider. We are passionate about dogs’ welfare and take a holistic view of dogs in that health and behaviour are linked.

After 40+ years in practice, Yvonne and Robert have realized that the other end of the lead is also extremely important.

Uniquely, Yvonne has researched how our emotions and our dogs’ emotions interact, and she understands how to create a better BOND with YOUR DOG.

Together, Yvonne, a dog behaviourist and trainer, and Robert, a veterinarian, coach others to find their dog’s LASSIE’S HEART and have the relationship with their dog they always wanted. Each client finds the SECRET SAUCE OF DOGMANSHIP (a term Yvonne explains in her book ‘In Search of Lassie: A Dog Owner’s Guide to the Lassie Myth’).
Robert is particularly interested in how pain and poor health affect behaviour.
Yvonne, who has owned dogs all her life, is particularly interested in how owners tell self-limiting stories that block them from having the dog they dreamed of owning, a dog like Lassie.
