A Year Old Today

Today, Dasher is a year old, a day that needs to be celebrated considering his journey. So, I bought him his own special cushion, which he is really enjoying. As his litter was born so close to Christmas, they were all named after Santa's reindeer. I am not sure how many have kept their given name, but I decided Dasher certainly suited our pups’s character, even though his dashing had to be restricted for over 5 months. Now that his treatment has been completed, we have been training him in earnest. He enjoys working out puzzles and is showing promise.  This coming year, hopefully, we can look ahead and say, 'Now, Dasher! Now, Dancer! Now, Prancer and Vixen! On, Comet! On, Cupid! On, Donner and Blixen! To the top of the porch! To the top of the wall! Now dash away! Dash away! Dash away all.' Happy Christmas and a happy New Year to all my readers.
