Getting to the heart of the matter

Dasher is doing well with his hydrotherapy, and I wanted to join his training classes, but I have been laid up myself with various health issues. As they say, it never rains when it pours. Even our older dog, Joy, has been struggling with her problems. We had to schedule an emergency spay as she had issues with a uterine infection. I realise that I had to prioritise the important things to steer us through these issues. It has been Dasher's everyday training. I wanted to train him to compete, but I also wanted him to be the family pet who can cope with everyday pressures. I am so pleased with Dasher’s progress. He loves Joy and is gentle with our granddaughter. So, the main focus has been on teaching Dasher not to pull on his lead during a family walk. #familydog #prioritisingtraining
